An afforestation plan of Rotary Club of Virudhunagar to plant 21 lakh trees in a year.

Objective
         Padma Shri Thimmakka is ray of hope for anyone who feels that resurrecting the World from destruction is possible. Taking the lady, who enthused the country to plant and preserve trees as an inspiration, Rotary Club of Virudhunagar has taken up the resolution of planting 21 lakh trees in a year. The drive took its first step as the District Governor of Rotary District 3212, Rtn. Jacintha Dharma and District Secretary of Rotary District 3212, Rtn. Major Donor Alexander Manuelshook hands with Rotary Club of Virudhunagar and rooted the first 16 trees near Mantra Factory, Virudhunagar.
